OneChat Community Standards

Effective August 11, 2026

These standards apply to messages, stories, profiles, files, calls and other user-generated content on OneChat.

Safety of children

Never create, solicit, possess, share, sell or promote child sexual abuse or exploitation material, sexualization of minors, grooming, trafficking, or instructions that facilitate exploitation. We may preserve and report information when required by applicable law.

Harassment, hate and threats

Targeted harassment, bullying, credible threats, stalking, hateful attacks against protected characteristics, and encouragement of suicide or serious self-harm are prohibited.

Sexual and intimate content

Non-consensual intimate imagery, sexual exploitation, sextortion, and sexual content involving minors are prohibited. Do not use OneChat primarily to distribute pornographic or sexually exploitative material.

Violence, dangerous organizations and illegal activity

Do not use OneChat to plan or encourage serious violence, terrorism or extremist violence, trafficking, fraud, malware distribution, or other unlawful conduct.

Spam, scams and impersonation

Bulk unsolicited messaging, deceptive schemes, phishing, credential theft, malicious links and impersonation intended to deceive or harm others are prohibited.

Report and block

Long-press a message to report it, use the story safety menu to report a story, and use a direct chat safety menu to report or block an account. Blocked direct-message accounts cannot start new direct messages or calls with each other. You can manage blocked accounts from Profile → Blocked users.

Moderation

Reports are reviewed by authorized OneChat administrators. Depending on severity and context, OneChat may remove content, restrict functionality, suspend or ban accounts, preserve evidence, or refer matters to appropriate authorities when legally required. Abuse of the reporting system is also prohibited.
